this site will explain to you the function of that program: exchange.pl.
For the explanation we have chosen 4 scenarios, feel free to choose that one which can solve your problem.
Basically: it is about the exchange of files between two parties, which are not connected with a dataserver. The filesize is too big for the exchange via EMail .
If you haven't worked with the programm yet, it is recommendable to send yourself a file, just to get experience with the system . don't worry its not prossible to destroy anything.
You are a member of the institution that uses this service?
- sender: you want to make this file available for someone?
- open uploadmask.
- follow the instructions in the section: "upload file"
- once you have klicked "send" a page with an url will appear.
mark the url with your mouse and copy it into the clipboard (rightklick on the marked url and select "copy" or "kopieren").
- to inform the receiver via email, just paste the url into the textfield (righklick into the textfield and select "paste" or "einfügen") and send the mail.
- receiver: you want to get a file from someone?
- create an upload-tan, as described on this page. if you want to get an email when someone uses the TAN just fill in your mailadress.
alternatively you can login via the service , in this case your emailadress is set automatically .
- send the person you want to get the file from the TAN and this link:
https://pc14.dife.de/exchange
you should advice the person to use the descriptions given in the section "uploadfile".
- if you have filled in your emailadress you get an email when the file has been uploaded. If not it is necassary that the uploading person gives the url displayed in the uploadprocess to you.
- simply click the url inside the mail and you will get your file.

- Request an Upload-TAN of the potential receiver.
- Once you have the TAN, open the Uploadmask.
- follow the instructions in the section "Upload file"
- once you have klicked "send" a page an url will appear.

- to inform the receiver via email, just paste the url into the textfield (righklick into the textfield and select "paste" or "einfügen") and send the mail.
- receiver: you want to get a file from someone of this instutition?
- Please him/her to follow the instructions in the Uploadmask in the section "Upload file".
Furthermore ask him/her to send you the Link via EMail
- once you have receivied the EMail, klick the Link and you will get your file.
